Super Kool!

Every April in Redding there is an event called Kool April Nights. It's huge. Every car enthusiast is out with their pride and joy. A Show and Shine on every corner EVERY day. I try to avoid it at all costs! The crowds are horrible. Driving is unbearable. In all the years that I have lived in Redding I have only been to the cruise and the Civic Center once. That was enough for me!

Well, this year I stepped out of my comfort zone. I went ahead and visited two Show and Shines. At first I thought I didn't get anything good but after editing I was pretty pleased! Below are a few of the photographs from my endeavors. To view more click the link at the bottom of the blog.

I might have gotten carried away trying to get the cascade theater sign reflection in the cars!

I was wandering around the cars trying to find a good angle and saw one of the car owners reflected in the mirror of his car! It made for a cool shot! Or should I say a KOOL shot!

I loved the dice door lock on the photograph below.
